A Call to Solidarity

We invite churches within the CNBC to join hands in a shared mission: empowering Cuban Baptist churches to uplift and support their communities. This initiative seeks to build strong, supportive connections between congregations, allowing churches in Canada to “adopt” churches in Cuba. Through this partnership, we can provide essential resources and encouragement, enabling these churches to continue their vital work.

Below, you will find a list of churches in Cuba, each with its unique needs and challenges. By participating in this initiative, your church can choose to support one of these communities, offering much-needed assistance and fostering a spirit of unity and compassion.

- 12th BAPTIST CHURCH "El Sembrador"

Pastor Robin serves as the pastor of the 12th Baptist Church in Guantánamo, a vibrant congregation experiencing growth under his leadership. Pastor Robin is deeply involved in both ministry and the medical field, bringing healing to the community as a surgeon at the local hospital.https://12bautistagtm.org/

- "Ebenezer" Baptist Church in Casimba de Maisí, Guantánamo, Cuba.

Pastor Elieser Noa Puebla.
Mission: To reach the greatest number of people for Christ. (Matthew 28:19-20)
Vision: To impact every person who interacts with us as a church, so that they come to know God through our works. (Acts 2:46-47) What we are doing now: As a church, every Sunday we prepare lunch for all the children who attend Sunday School.

Pastor Rve. Iriel Matos Alba.
A church with 95 members in full communion. It has various ministries, including music, children, adolescents, youth, women, men, and a mission for the elderly. Our projected strategy is to establish a pharmacy for the community in collaboration with local health organizations, offering free medication to those in need within the community.

Emmanuel Church, El Naranjo is dedicated to making a transformative impact in our community. With your support, we aim to address critical needs such as installing a cistern for reliable water access. Our community-focused initiatives include a summer children's camp, a clown ministry to teach Bible stories, and the development of a small livestock farm to provide fresh milk and meat. By partnering with us, you help us create lasting change, foster spiritual growth, and support our mission to serve and uplift El Naranjo.

The church's strategy to reach deeper into the community focuses on providing a critical resource: water. Recognizing the significant number of people in need within the community, the church has committed to supplying water free of charge. This initiative not only meets a vital physical need but also serves as a practical expression of the church's mission to show compassion and care, thereby building stronger connections and trust within the community.

Pastor: Dios Mel Domínguez Mato. The main strategy of Pastor Dios Mel's church focuses on small group ministries and home visits to nurture individuals with the Word. This approach is central to their mission of local evangelism and spiritual growth within the community.
