Baptist Church “Ebenezer” in Casimba de Maisí, Guantánamo, Cuba.

Casimba Church is nestled within the heart of its community, under the spiritual guidance of Pastor Elieser Noa Puebla. The church is made up of 94 members. 48 children, 18 youth, and a regular congregation of approximately 135 souls.

The church’s influence extend far beyond the walls of their sanctuary, reaching out into the surrounding community with open arms. The recent baptism of 7 souls signifies not just a ceremony but a reaffirmation of faith and a call to arms for the congregation. Yet, amidst the jubilance, prayers are earnestly sought for marriages ensnared in the thorns of disbelief and for the lost sheep among the youth. They ask for prayers for their non-believing in-laws and the siblings of the pastor’s wife.

Casimba Church also prays for the means to alleviate their physical burdens. An electric generator and a chainsaw are needed as tools for sustenance, ensuring that no member goes hungry amidst the trials of life in Cuba. They also need a sound mixer for the church. The church’s partnership with a congregation in the United States serves as a beacon of hope for them. They have already started another mission point in the area.
